Mersen’s 1500VDC HelioProtection fuse holders for 20x65mm PV fuses introduce the next level of safety for higher amperege utility scale photovoltaic applications. The HP15FHP80 fuse holders are finger safe (IP20 ingress protection rated) and feature a rotating fuse carrier similar to the Mersen UltraSafe® fuse holders.

The HP15FHP80 series offers two configurations to fulfill global market requirements. One configuration offers input and output terminals that accept standard PV rated wiring and comb bus bars, providing added versatility for end-use installations. The second accepts wire and bus bar terminations. The body features high performance UL 94 V-0 rated polymer material, providing superior flammability rating, with exceptional durability and dielectric withstand properties.

Die modularen 600-V-Sicherungshalter UltraSafe Modular von Mersen für Sicherungen der Klasse J bieten ein ganz neues Sicherheitsniveau und sind zudem einfach zu installieren. Die Sicherungshalter UltraSafe erfüllen die Anforderungen von IP20 an den Berührungsschutz gemäß den IEC-Normen. Die Sicherungshalter US3J eignen sich für 30-A-Sicherungen der Klasse J oder französische Druckhülsensicherungen*, 22 x 58 mm. Die Sicherungshalter US6J sind für 60-A-Sicherungen der Klasse J bestimmt. UltraSafe-Sicherungshalter sind in kompakter 1-, 2- oder 3-poliger Ausführung, mit oder ohne Kontrollanzeige für die einzelnen Pole erhältlich. Mehrpolige Modelle lassen sich mithilfe der speziellen Montagesets auch direkt vor Ort zusammensetzen. Alle Modelle verfügen über Vorrichtungen zum Einrasten in offener Stellung für ein sicheres Auswechseln der Sicherungen oder Wartungsarbeiten. Die Sicherungshalter US3J und US6J können auf 35-mm-DIN-Schienen gesteckt werden; sie haben einen einzigen Klemmbügel, der offen bleibt, um eine nachträgliche Umpositionierung des Sicherungshalters zu möglichen. Das Gehäuse der UltraSafe-Sicherungshalterungen ist aus robustem, beständigem Polyamid.

Fuse supports, non-disconnecting, are used primarily in potential transformer circuits, or where there is some other disconnecting or isolating device in series with the fuse in the circuit. Disconnecting switch devices have the additional feature of serving to isolate the equipment they protect. It should be noted that disconnecting switches are not load-breaking devices, therefore, the circuit must be open prior to the fuse disconnection. Select either a fuse support or a disconnecting switch for each fuse. Fuse supports and disconnecting switches include live parts for both ends. Both fuse supports and fuse disconnect switches can be mounted vertically or horizontally. The type EK are used for indoor installations while the type EKO are used outdoors.
